In 2011, we started to purchase ewes and rams that would be the foundation for the Andresen Sheep Farms venture. We have been raising sheep for showing and club lamb industry or market since 1977. The kids all showed market lambs and commercial ewes. In 2012 was our 1st crop out of Andresen Sheep Farms ewes after the purchase of the entire Winfrey Farms brood ewe flock and Crossfire. The rams bred to these ewes initially were (Miller) Exile, (Tomlin) Crossfire, and (Wheaton) Undeniable - "Untouchable" son on Rumors mother, and (Wheaton) The One.

Winfrey Farms ewes that anchor this set of Females are: "Paula" G495, "Daisy" R629, "Verna" G557, "Rhonda" Y02, "Pat" R637, "Emily" P98, "Sis" P672, and "Gypsy" G535. These ewes are the mothers of: 2010 3rd Overall IA 4-H, 2011 Res. Division II Iowa 4-H, and several key females. We are still fortunate to have all of these ewes on the farm in 2016 being donors producing high quality wethers, multiple key females, and new sires. We thank Tony for working with us!
